Crail Earthenware is run by Ben and Jane Grieve. Ben is the son of Stephen and Carol Grieve, the founders of Crail Pottery. Ben joined Crail Pottery in 1991 and was soon joined by his wife Jane.
Ben and Jane produce their own range of earthenware and stoneware. Ben throws the pots while Jane decorates using different techniques including spongeware, hand painting, stenciling and stoneware glaze dipping.
Ben and Jane’s children Emily and Timothy are also involved. Emily Hand Paints Pots while Timothy makes and glazes his own Pots.
